Key Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize solar energy systems for diverse applications.
  • Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies for solar installations.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project timelines and budgets.
  • Provide technical support for system maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare detailed project documentation and compliance reports.
  • Collaborate with local communities to promote solar energy adoption.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in solar system design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD).
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and renewable energy technologies.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate technical reports.
  • Fluency in English and basic knowledge of local languages (e.g., Mandinka).
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on sustainability.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Advanced certifications in solar energy (e.g., NABCEP) are a plus.

Experience

3–5 years of experience in renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar energy systems. Prior experience in project management or community engagement is preferred.

Salary

200,000 – 250,000 GMD/year, commensurate with experience and performance.
