Job Overview
This position requires a skilled economist to analyze marine resource data, develop economic models for sustainable fisheries, and advise on policy frameworks that balance ecological preservation with economic growth. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct economic analyses of marine resource utilization patterns and their environmental impacts.
- Design cost-benefit models for sustainable fishing practices and coastal tourism development.
- Collaborate with local stakeholders to identify economic opportunities in marine biodiversity conservation.
- Prepare policy briefs and technical reports for government and international partners.
