Job Overview
The Senior Petroleum Reservoir Engineer will play a critical role in our subsurface team, focusing on maximizing the recovery of hydrocarbon resources from our offshore and onshore assets. This role involves complex mathematical modeling, simulation, and performance analysis to optimize production profiles. You will be responsible for evaluating new exploration prospects and managing the lifecycle of existing reservoirs. This is a high-level technical position that requires a deep understanding of fluid flow in porous media and advanced reservoir simulation software. Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex reservoir simulations to predict future production performance and optimize well placement.

- Collaborate with geologists and petrophysicists to integrate seismic and well log data into reservoir models.
- Monitor real-time production data and adjust field development plans accordingly.
- Lead technical reviews and provide expert guidance on complex subsurface challenges.
- Ensure all reservoir engineering activities comply with international safety and environmental standards.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in reservoir simulation software such as Eclipse, Petrel, or CMG.
- Deep understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and rock properties.
- Strong analytical and mathematical modeling capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a high-pressure environment.

Education
A minimum of a Master of Science (MSc) in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a closely related Earth Science discipline is mandatory. A PhD is highly preferred for this senior-level position.
Experience
Candidates must possess between 7 to 10 years of direct experience in reservoir engineering, specifically within the oil and gas industry. Proven track record in managing large-scale reservoir models and contributing to successful field development projects is essential. Experience in offshore environments is a significant advantage.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 450,000 SSP to 750,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s expertise and performance during the interview process. This package is highly competitive within the local market.
