Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Hospitality Operations Manager to lead our complex operations in Brikama. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the hotel to ensure seamless guest services and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategic operational plans to maximize revenue and minimize costs.
  • Lead, mentor, and train department heads to maintain high performance and service standards.
  • Manage departmental budgets and conduct regular financial audits to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Ensure strict compliance with international health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to drive occupancy rates and seasonal promotions.

Required Skills

  • Advanced leadership and team management capabilities in a luxury hospitality setting.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English; proficiency in French or local languages is an advantage.
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L management and budgetary forecasting.
  • In-depth knowledge of hospitality software and property management systems (PMS).
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex guest issues calmly and effectively.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to implement long-term operational improvements.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field is mandatory. Advanced certifications in hospitality management or business administration are highly preferred.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in hospitality operations, with at least 3 years in a senior management role within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment. Proven track record of managing large teams and achieving financial targets is essential.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on experience and qualifications.
