Job Overview

The Customs Compliance Analyst will ensure that all shipments processed through DHL’s Farafenni hub comply with Gambian customs regulations and international trade laws. You will act as a key liaison between customs authorities, internal teams, and clients, providing expert guidance on documentation, classification, and duty optimization. Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate import/export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with Gambian customs regulations.
• Classify goods using the Harmonized System (HS) code and determine appropriate duties and taxes.
• Coordinate with customs officials to resolve clearance issues and expedite shipments.
• Provide advisory support to internal sales and operations teams on regulatory changes and best practices.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of customs filings, audits, and compliance reports.

Education
