1. About Kari Taxi
Kari Taxi is a rideshare and taxi-booking platform designed to provide safe, reliable, convenient, and technology-driven transportation services in The Gambia.
2. Position Summary
The Driver Registration & Onboarding Agent will be responsible for identifying potential drivers, explaining the Kari Taxi service, assisting drivers with registration, checking the required documents, and ensuring that drivers understand how to use the Kari Taxi application.
3. Key Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain good relationships with drivers and driver associations.
• Help achieve the company’s driver recruitment targets.
• Help drivers create accounts and enter the required information correctly.
• Maintain confidentiality and securely handle drivers’ personal information.
• Demonstrate how to install and use the Kari Taxi driver application.
• Teach drivers how to log in, manage their profiles, receive ride requests, and complete trips.
• Explain the driver membership fee and applicable payment procedures.
• Explain the basic rules, service standards, and responsibilities expected of Kari Taxi drivers.
• Provide basic assistance when drivers encounter difficulties using the application.
• Report recurring problems and driver concerns to management.
4. Required Qualifications
• A minimum of secondary school education or an equivalent qualification.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills.
• Ability to use mobile applications and enter information accurately.
• Ability to communicate professionally with drivers and members of the public.
• Ability to work independently and meet agreed recruitment targets.
• Fluency in English is required.
5. Working Conditions
The position may require fieldwork, visits to taxi ranks, transport hubs, driver associations, and other locations where drivers operate.
The employee must be willing to travel within the assigned area and use a smartphone or computer to complete registrations and submit reports.
