Kari Taxi is a digital taxi-booking and passenger transportation platform that aims to provide safe, reliable, and convenient transportation services in The Gambia.
2. Job Description
The Operations and Digital Marketing Assistant will support Kari Taxi’s daily operations, plan and manage paid social media advertising campaigns, recruit and onboard drivers, provide assistance to users, and strengthen the platform’s online presence through engaging social media content and promotional activities.
3. Main Responsibilities
• Help coordinate Kari Taxi’s daily activities.
• Track driver registrations and onboarding.
• Create and manage paid ads on Kari Taxi’s official pages and accounts on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
• Create posters, visuals, and social media posts using tools such as Canva or other similar tools.
• Help organize partnerships with local actors, content creators, and influencers.
• Respond to users’ messages and comments in accordance with company guidelines.
• Build relationships with drivers, taxi associations, and stakeholders in the transportation sector.
• Analyze campaign results, including reach, views, interactions, clicks, registrations, and downloads.
4. Required Qualifications
• Hold a diploma or degree in any or all the followings: information technology, marketing, communications, management, administration, or a related field.
• Be proficient with computer tools and mobile applications.
• Be proficient with office tools, including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Some knowledge of Canva, CapCut, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of marketing performance indicators (KPIs).
• Experience in customer service, recruitment, or operations management.
• Fluency in English and knowledge of one or more local languages, especially Mandinka, Wolof, or Fula.
