Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Renewable Energy Investment Analyst to join our team in Basse, Gambia. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and providing recommendations to the bank’s management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, private sector companies, and civil society organizations
• Provide technical assistance to the government and private sector on renewable energy policy and regulatory frameworks
• Develop and implement investment strategies to achieve the bank’s renewable energy goals
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments and provide recommendations for improvement

Required Skills

• Master’s degree in Renewable Energy, Finance, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in renewable energy investment analysis or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Education

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Finance, or a related field from a recognized university.

Experience

The successful candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in renewable energy investment analysis or a related field.

Salary

The salary for this position is 45,000 – 60,000 SSP per annum.
