Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainable Aquaculture Specialist to join our team in Kartong, Gambia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable aquaculture practices that benefit both people and the environment.

The Sustainable Aquaculture Specialist will work closely with our team of experts to design and implement aquaculture projects that promote sustainable seafood production and improve the livelihoods of local communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sustainable aquaculture practices that benefit both people and the environment
  • Design and implement aquaculture projects that promote sustainable seafood production and improve the livelihoods of local communities
  • Work closely with our team of experts to develop and implement aquaculture projects that meet the needs of local communities
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for sustainable aquaculture development
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote sustainable aquaculture practices among local communities

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Aquaculture or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in sustainable aquaculture development
  • Strong knowledge of sustainable aquaculture practices and their benefits
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture or related field
