Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct all mining operations, including drilling, blasting, loading, and haulage.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies, conducting regular site inspections.
- Monitor production metrics, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed targets.
- Coordinate shift schedules, manage labor resources, and oversee subcontractor performance.
- Collaborate with the Mine Engineer to plan and execute short‑term and long‑term mining plans.
- Maintain accurate operational records, daily reports, and regulatory documentation.
- Lead daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and emergency response drills.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and technology adoption.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
- In‑depth knowledge of mining equipment, ventilation, and ground control.
- Proficiency in mine planning software (e.g., Surpac, Vulcan) and data analysis tools.

Education
