Job Overview

As a Multimedia Content Creator, you will design, produce, and distribute engaging digital content across platforms including video, audio, and interactive media. This role is ideal for creative professionals passionate about using technology to amplify Gambian voices globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality multimedia content for web, social media, and broadcast platforms
  • Collaborate with local journalists and community leaders to co-create authentic narratives
  • Utilize editing software (Adobe Premiere, Audition, etc.) for post-production work
  • Conduct field research to identify compelling stories from Gambian communities
  • Optimize content for SEO and cross-platform compatibility

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in video/audio production and editing
  • Strong understanding of digital storytelling techniques

    • li>Experience with social media analytics tools

  • Cultural sensitivity and local language knowledge (Wolof/Fula preferred)
  • Ability to work independently in remote locations

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies, Communications, or related field
  • Certifications in digital content creation (optional but advantageous)

Experience

  • 2-3 years in multimedia content production
  • Portfolio demonstrating creative versatility
  • Experience working with international media organizations (preferred)

Salary

150,000 – 200,000 Dinar per annum, commensurate with experience and performance.
