The Operations Manager will oversee daily business operations, improve organizational efficiency, manage operational systems, and ensure business continuity while supporting strategic growth initiatives.


Job Objective

The role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising operational activities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality control, and organizational performance. The Operations Manager will also support policy implementation, staff supervision, budgeting, and process improvement across departments.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Report directly to the COO/CEO on operational activities and strategic initiatives
  • Plan, organize, and oversee day-to-day operational functions
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
  • Ensure business continuity and operational efficiency across departments

Project & Process Management

  • Strategically map, plan, and manage projects
  • Improve operational systems and workflow processes
  • Identify opportunities for operational expansion and innovation
  • Support development of new business products and services

Financial & Budget Oversight

  • Track operational budgets and expenditure
  • Monitor cost efficiency and resource utilization
  • Support profit and loss management and financial planning
  • Coordinate procurement of materials and supplies

Team Leadership & Human Resources

  • Train staff on company procedures and operational standards
  • Supervise employee performance and daily workflow
  • Implement HR and workforce management practices
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and productivity

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Communicate with management teams to ensure execution of company processes
  • Maintain positive vendor and client relationships
  • Prepare management and operational performance reports

Inventory & Resource Management

  • Monitor inventory levels and operational resources
  • Ensure availability of required materials and supplies
  • Maintain operational data and reporting systems

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
  • Master’s Degree is preferred
  • Certification or training in Project Management is an added advantage
