Job Overview

The Senior Automation Engineer will lead the design, development, and deployment of automation solutions for Siemens’ clients in Gambia and the wider West African region. Reporting to the Automation Services Manager, you will be responsible for translating customer requirements into robust, scalable control systems that improve operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability. This role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams, including sales, project management, software development, and field service, to ensure seamless project execution from concept to commissioning. You will also mentor junior engineers, contribute to technical documentation, and stay abreast of emerging technologies such as Industry 4.0, IoT, and AI‑driven analytics. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the engineering design of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems for industrial automation projects.

Required Skills

Education
