Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly qualified Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Brikama. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex civil engineering projects, ensuring all technical requirements and design specifications are met.
- Oversee site engineers and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Conduct rigorous structural analysis and design reviews to mitigate technical risks during the construction phase.
- Collaborate with architects, urban planners, and government officials to ensure project alignment with local regulations.
- Monitor project budgets and resource allocation to prevent cost overruns and optimize material usage.
- Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols on-site to ensure a zero-harm working environment.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in structural engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000.
- Exceptional project management skills with experience in large-scale infrastructure development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex engineering challenges on-site.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of international construction standards and local building codes.
Education
A Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field is mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate a strong academic background in structural mechanics, geotechnical engineering, and construction management.
Experience
A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in civil engineering is required, with a proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects. Experience in international construction firms or working on major infrastructure projects in West Africa is highly desirable.
Salary
The offered salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 75,000 SSP per month, depending on the candidate’s experience and technical expertise. This package is competitive within the local market for specialized engineering roles.
