As a Sustainable Water Resources Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the sustainable management of the Gambia’s water resources. This will involve working closely with government agencies, NGOs, and local communities to identify and address water-related issues, and to develop and implement solutions that promote water conservation and efficient use.

- Develop and implement water conservation and efficiency plans
- Conduct water resources assessments and monitoring
- Collaborate with government agencies and NGOs to develop and implement water-related policies and programs
- Provide technical assistance to local communities on water conservation and efficient use
- Develop and manage budgets and resources for water-related projects

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field

Education
The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field. A Ph.D. in a related field is an asset.
Experience
The successful candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in water resources management, conservation, and efficiency. Experience in a similar role in a government agency, NGO, or private sector organization is an asset.
Salary
The salary for this position is 80,000 – 120,000 SSP per annum, depending on experience.
