Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental impact assessments for proposed development projects
- Evaluate ecological, social, and economic impacts of infrastructure initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports with mitigation strategies and compliance recommendations
- Liaise with government agencies, NGOs, and local communities during the EIA process
- Monitor and audit project compliance with environmental regulations
- Develop sustainability frameworks for GERBDA’s regional development programs
Required Skills
- Expertise in environmental impact assessment methodologies

- Proficiency in GIS mapping and ecological data analysis

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Geography, or related discipline
- Postgraduate qualification in Environmental Management preferred

- Proven experience in West African environmental projects

Salary
