Job Overview:As a Sustainable Urban Planner, you will play a key role in developing and implementing urban planning strategies that promote sustainable development and improve the quality of life for citizens in Brikama. You will work closely with local stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and private sector partners, to identify and address urban development challenges. You will also contribute to the development of urban planning policies and guidelines that support sustainable development and reduce poverty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement urban planning strategies that promote sustainable development and improve the quality of life for citizens in Brikama
- Work closely with local stakeholders to identify and address urban development challenges
- Contribute to the development of urban planning policies and guidelines that support sustainable development and reduce poverty
- Collaborate with government officials, community leaders, and private sector partners to implement urban planning projects
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of urban planning projects on sustainable development and poverty reduction
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in urban planning and development
- Strong knowledge of urban planning principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with stakeholders
- Fluency in English and local languages
