Job Overview

The Solar Project Development Engineer will lead the planning, design, and execution of solar power projects from concept through commissioning. This role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams, local stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure projects meet technical, financial, and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct solar resource assessments, feasibility studies, and site selection analyses for new projects.
• Develop detailed engineering designs, including layout, electrical schematics, and balance‑of‑system specifications.
• Prepare comprehensive project proposals, cost estimates, and financial models to secure funding.
• Coordinate with local authorities, landowners, and utility companies to obtain permits and grid interconnection agreements.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, including civil, electrical, and procurement engineers, to ensure timely project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

Education

Salary
