Job Overview
The IT Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology projects that drive digital innovation for IBM Gambia’s clients. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and strong leadership to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget while meeting the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation matrices using IBM’s project management tools.
- Lead project kickoff meetings, status reviews, and steering committee sessions to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Monitor project performance, track milestones, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
- Manage budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial compliance with client contracts.

Required Skills
- Proven expertise in project management methodologies such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum.
- Strong technical background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud), AI/ML solutions, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the capacity to solve complex problems under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with project management software (IBM Rational, MS Project, JIRA).

Education
