Job Overview

The Cloud Solutions Architect will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud‑based architectures for Microsoft’s enterprise customers in Gambia and the broader West African market. Reporting to the Head of Cloud Services, you will work closely with sales, engineering, and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost‑effective cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. Key Responsibilities

  • Strong understanding of networking, security, identity management, and data storage in cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
  • Certification such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert is highly preferred.

Education
