Job Overview:As a Supply Chain Sustainability Specialist at DHL Global Logistics, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable supply chain practices that reduce our carbon footprint and promote environmentally responsible logistics operations. You will work closely with our supply chain teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to reduce waste, energy consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainable supply chain practices that align with DHL’s global sustainability goals
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of our supply chain operations to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement sustainable procurement practices
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste, energy consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions
- Monitor and report on key sustainability metrics and progress towards our sustainability goals
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in supply chain sustainability and logistics operations
- Strong knowledge of sustainable supply chain practices and regulations
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
