Job Overview:As a Sustainable Geospatial Analyst with The Nature Conservancy, you will play a critical role in supporting our conservation efforts in Gambia. You will be responsible for analyzing geospatial data to inform conservation decisions, developing and implementing conservation plans, and collaborating with local stakeholders to promote sustainable land use practices.   • Develop and implement geospatial analysis techniques to inform conservation decisions
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to promote sustainable land use practices
  • Develop and maintain geospatial databases and maps to support conservation efforts
  • Conduct fieldwork to collect geospatial data and monitor conservation outcomes
  • Develop and implement conservation plans to protect and restore natural habitats

Required Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Geospatial Science or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in geospatial analysis and conservation
  • Strong knowledge of geospatial software and tools, including ArcGIS and QGIS
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
