Job Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Sustainable Agriculture Specialist to join our team in Njau, Gambia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to rural communities in the development and implementation of sustainable agriculture practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to rural communities in the development and implementation of sustainable agriculture practices.
- Conduct field assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement in agricultural productivity and sustainability.
- Develop and implement training programs for farmers and extension agents on sustainable agriculture practices.
- Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and private sector partners to promote sustainable agriculture practices.
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Agricultural Science or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in sustainable agriculture development.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural practices and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science or related field.
