Job Overview

The Human Resources Director will play a pivotal role in aligning our people strategy with our long-term business objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support business goals and promote a high-performance culture.
• Lead the talent acquisition strategy to attract, recruit, and retain top-tier professional talent in the Gambia.
• Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
• Drive organizational development initiatives, including leadership training and succession planning.
• Manage complex employee relations issues and ensure compliance with local labor laws and international standards.
• Provide strategic counsel to senior management on organizational design and workforce optimization.
• Monitor and report on key HR metrics to drive data-informed decision-making.

Education

A Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field is mandatory. Professional certification such as SHRM-SCP or CIPD is highly preferred.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in human resources, with at least 4 years in a senior management or director-level role within a professional services or multinational environment. Proven track record of managing large-scale organizational changes is essential.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 75,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
