We are seeking an experienced Environmental Geologist to join our team in Janjanbureh, Gambia. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting geological surveys and assessments, and for providing advice on environmental management and conservation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct geological surveys and assessments to inform environmental management and conservation decisions.
  • Provide advice on environmental management and conservation to stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and local communities.
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans and strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to advance our understanding of the Earth and its resources.

Required Skills

  • PhD in Environmental Geology or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in environmental geology or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
