Job Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Petroleum Geologist to lead our subsurface evaluation and reservoir characterization efforts. Key Responsibilities

• Lead seismic interpretation and geological modeling to identify hydrocarbon reservoirs.
• Perform detailed petrophysical analysis to evaluate rock properties and fluid content.
• Collaborate with geophysicists and drilling engineers to design optimal well trajectories.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for executive management.

Education

A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Geology, Earth Sciences, or a closely related field is required. A PhD is highly preferred for this senior-level position.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of direct experience in petroleum exploration, specifically within offshore or coastal sedimentary basins. Proven track record in reservoir characterization and successful well site identification is essential.

Salary
