Job Overview
The Mining Geologist will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and developing mineral deposits within the Brikama region. Reporting to the Exploration Manager, you will lead field surveys, core logging, and geological modeling to support the company’s strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive geological mapping and field investigations across assigned exploration blocks.
- Collect, describe, and log core and rock samples, ensuring accurate data capture for subsequent analysis.
- Develop and maintain 3D geological models using industry‑standard software such as Leapfrog and Surpac.
- Interpret geophysical and geochemical data to identify prospective mineralization zones.
- Prepare technical reports, maps, and presentations for internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with drilling teams to design optimal drill programs that maximize data quality and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout all field activities.
