Job Overview
The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all manufacturing processes and final products adhere to the highest global safety and quality standards. This position involves rigorous testing, process auditing, and the implementation of advanced quality management systems. You will work closely with the production and supply chain teams to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions before they impact the consumer. This is a high-impact role within our Brikama facility, requiring a deep understanding of food safety protocols, chemical analysis, and industrial compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance protocols for all production lines.
- Conduct regular audits of raw material suppliers to ensure compliance with Nestlé standards.
- Lead root cause analysis for any deviations in product quality or safety.
- Oversee the calibration and maintenance of laboratory testing equipment.
- Train production staff on hygiene, safety, and quality control procedures.
- Monitor environmental conditions within the manufacturing plant to prevent contamination.
- Prepare detailed quality reports for regional management and regulatory bodies.
Required Skills
- Advanced knowledge of HACCP and ISO quality management systems.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
- Strong technical writing skills for reporting and documentation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or Industrial Engineering is mandatory. A Master’s degree in Quality Management or a related field is highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a large-scale manufacturing or food production facility. Proven experience in managing compliance audits is essential.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on experience and qualifications.
