Job Overview

The Agricultural Supply Chain Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing the end‑to‑end flow of agricultural commodities from farm to market. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the analyst will leverage data analytics, forecasting tools, and stakeholder collaboration to improve inventory management, reduce lead times, and increase profitability for Olam’s operations in The Gambia. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts and inventory optimization models for key commodities.
  • Coordinate with farmers and cooperatives to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
  • Monitor transportation schedules, warehouse capacities, and export timelines to meet customer commitments.
  • Prepare regular performance dashboards and present insights to senior management.
  • Support the implementation of digital tools such as ERP and traceability systems.
  • Collaborate with the sustainability team to integrate ESG metrics into supply chain processes.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

Education
