Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics on hydraulic circuits, pumps, and cylinders using specialized testing equipment.
  • Execute repairs and replacements of hydraulic components in heavy construction and mining machinery.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime for clients.
  • Interpret technical schematics and blueprints to troubleshoot complex fluid power issues.
  • Maintain detailed service logs and documentation for all repairs and inspections performed.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement technical upgrades and system improvements.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in reading and interpreting hydraulic and pneumatic circuit diagrams.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as pressure gauges, flow meters, and multimeters.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in heavy machinery maintenance.

Education

A minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Power Technology, or a related technical field is required. Certification in specialized hydraulic systems is highly preferred.

Experience

Candidates must possess at least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty hydraulic systems within the construction or mining industry.

Salary
