Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Agronomy Specialist to lead our field research and technical advisory programs in the Kerewan region. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement large-scale field trials to evaluate new crop varieties and pest management strategies.
- Provide high-level technical advisory services to local farming cooperatives and stakeholders.
- Analyze soil health data and recommend customized fertilization and irrigation protocols.
- Develop training modules for local field technicians and agricultural extension officers.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to adapt global seed technologies to the specific ecological zones of the Gambia.

Education
A Master’s degree or PhD in Agronomy, Plant Science, Soil Science, or a closely related agricultural field is mandatory. A strong academic background in tropical agriculture is highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in agronomic research or field management, preferably within a multinational agricultural corporation.
