Key Job Responsibilities
Loan Recovery & Portfolio Management
The Recovery Manager will:
- Develop and implement loan recovery strategies for delinquent and non-performing loans (NPLs).
- Monitor and report Portfolio at Risk (PAR) performance metrics.
- Supervise recovery officers and ensure proper follow-up on overdue accounts.
- Negotiate repayment plans, settlements, and restructuring agreements with delinquent clients.
- Recommend loan write-offs, legal recovery actions, or restructuring options.
- Maintain accurate recovery records, dashboards, and performance reports.
- Improve debt collection efficiency and reduce loan default rates.
Legal Advisory Responsibilities
The successful candidate will also act as an Internal Legal Adviser by:
- Providing legal advice to management on operational, lending, and compliance matters.
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating:
- Contracts
- Loan agreements
- Service agreements
