We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geospatial Analyst to join our team in Basse, Gambia. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to support our energy operations.
Job Overview
The Senior Geospatial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to support our energy operations. This will involve working with a range of data sources, including satellite imagery, GPS data, and spatial databases.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in geospatial analysis and a proven track record of working with complex data sets. They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret geospatial data to support energy operations
- Develop and implement geospatial analysis tools and techniques
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate geospatial data into energy operations
- Provide training and support to other team members on geospatial analysis techniques
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Geospatial Analysis or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in geospatial analysis
- Strong background in geospatial analysis software, including ArcGIS and QGIS
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
