Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydropower Systems Engineer to lead our technical operations in Bintading. This role is critical to the successful implementation and maintenance of large-scale hydroelectric projects across the region. The successful candidate will oversee complex system designs, ensure operational efficiency, and lead a team of specialized technicians. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of hydropower assets, from initial feasibility studies and design validation to long-term maintenance and optimization. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and technical validation of hydropower plant components and control systems.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of new hydroelectric turbines and generators.
- Perform advanced diagnostic analysis on system performance to maximize energy output.
- Manage large-scale technical projects from conception through to operational handover.
- Collaborate with local government and utility stakeholders to ensure grid compliance.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff on-site.
- Implement rigorous safety and environmental protocols to minimize ecological impact.
Required Skills
- Expertise in hydraulic machinery, turbine design, and electrical control systems.
- Advanced proficiency in engineering simulation software and CAD tools.
- Strong project management capabilities and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- In-depth knowledge of international energy standards and safety regulations.

Education
A Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field is mandatory. Candidates with a PhD and significant industrial experience will be given preference.
Experience
A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in hydropower plant operations or design is required. Proven experience in large-scale energy infrastructure projects in developing markets is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of successful project delivery and technical leadership.
Salary
The offered salary range for this position is 450,000 to 750,000 SSP per month, depending on experience and technical expertise. This is a competitive package designed to attract top-tier engineering talent.
