Job Overview
The Automated Warehouse Systems Engineer will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced robotic sorting and retrieval systems within our Brikama facility. This role is essential for optimizing our throughput and ensuring high-speed accuracy in our fulfillment processes. You will be responsible for integrating complex mechatronic systems with our existing warehouse management software. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated conveyor and sorting systems to increase warehouse efficiency.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on robotic arms and automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Conduct performance analysis on automated lines to identify bottlenecks and optimize cycle times.
- Ensure all automated systems comply with international safety and operational standards.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex hardware-software integration issues.
