Job Overview

GADA is seeking a dynamic Agricultural Extension Officer to support rural farming communities in Brikama. This role involves providing technical guidance, training, and resources to enhance agricultural productivity while promoting environmentally sustainable practices. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field visits to assess agricultural needs and provide tailored recommendations to farmers.

• Monitor crop yields and environmental conditions to identify areas for improvement.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Environmental Science, or related field. A Master’s Degree is a plus.

Experience

Minimum of 2–3 years in agricultural extension, rural development, or NGO project management. Experience with smallholder farming systems is preferred.

Salary

150,000 – 180,000 GMD per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
