Job Overview

This role focuses on optimizing agricultural supply chain operations to enhance productivity, reduce post-harvest losses, and improve market linkages for smallholder farmers. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement supply chain strategies for agricultural commodities
  • Analyze production, storage, and distribution data to identify inefficiencies
  • Collaborate with farmers’ cooperatives to establish sustainable procurement practices
  • Develop digital tools for real-time supply chain monitoring
  • Coordinate with transport providers to optimize logistics networks
  • Prepare reports on supply chain performance metrics

Required Skills

  • Expertise in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
  • Knowledge of Gambian agricultural value chains
