Job Overview:Are you passionate about sustainable urban planning and development? Do you have experience in urban planning and development projects? We are looking for a Sustainable Urban Planner to join our team in Basse, Gambia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable urban planning strategies and projects in the Gambia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainable urban planning strategies and projects in the Gambia
- Conduct urban planning and development assessments and analyses
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and private sector partners
- Develop and manage project budgets and timelines
- Monitor and evaluate project progress and outcomes
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in urban planning and development projects
- Strong knowledge of urban planning principles and practices
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with stakeholders
