Job Overview

This role focuses on designing and implementing smart transportation solutions to enhance urban mobility in Faraba, Gambia. The ideal candidate will collaborate with municipal authorities, urban planners, and technology providers to optimize traffic flow, reduce congestion, and integrate sustainable transit options. The position emphasizes data-driven decision-making and the use of emerging technologies to create accessible, safe, and eco-friendly transportation networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop urban mobility strategies aligned with Gambia’s national infrastructure goals.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for new transportation projects, including road networks and public transit systems.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to identify mobility challenges and propose scalable solutions.
  • Utilize GIS and transportation modeling software to analyze traffic patterns and optimize routes.
  • Ensure compliance with international urban planning standards and local regulations.

Education

Salary
